Using Signatures To Drive Traffic

An absolutely fantastic, viral and automated way to easily generate leads and sales is with the use of signatures.

Signatures are simply a standard block of text that you can include in every outgoing email message, blog post and forum entry that you write.

They usually take the form of a few lines which can include a call to action, your name and a link to a website or blog etc.

Keep your signature file to no more than a few lines. You can't tell your whole life story, just give the basics of who you are and how to contact you.

Use the KISS acronym when writing your signature - Keep It Simple, Silly

Don't use elaborate HTML in your signature because not all email programs will read it properly and this can mean that some people won't see your well crafted message and instead see a jumbled mess of illegible letters, symbols and numbers.

You should basically use your signature to let others know what you do, how you can help them and a method of contacting or reaching you. For example, here is one signature that I use:

Uncover A Simple Step By Step Running Plan For Beginners... Start Running Today

Signatures can be used at the end of posts or comments in forums, blogs or simply at the end of the emails that you send.

This is one technique that you can use immediately to start sending traffic through your affiliate hoplink and start earning commissions today.

It's easy, it's free and it really works.

Obviously in the example I've shown you above, you would replace www.howtostartrunning.com with your own hoplink. You aren't limited to using my text. Use anything that you feel conveys the biggest benefit to your readers.

If you have any questions about this subject or any other relating to promoting my eBook, please don't hesitate to contact me personally.
